Personal info

Pascale Bonnet has been running her practice with yoga and massage since 1996. She is French and has been working for the last 12 years in the Nederlands with parents and babies.

It was during her first pregnancy, in the Philippines, that the Doula who took care of her, showed her how to communicate and massage her baby, before and after the birth. The home birth of her son in 1992 was the most fulfilling life experience she ever had. She started practising yoga then. It became a way of life that inspired her to make it her profession.

She certified with yoga and massage at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health (USA) in 1996, and has followed the path of yogi Amrit Desai (founder of the Kripalu Yoga) and others, since.

In her work, she combines her life experience, principles and techniques developed by Janet Balaskas, founder of the Active Birth movement in England and Sheila Kitzinger. She also followed the zwangerschapsbegeleiding training of Lilith Turk and Marianne Prins in Amsterdam. She truly believes in the natural process of labour and birth, whether at home or in the hospital. She feels grateful to be part of creating a more conscious and peaceful world for future generations.

To further meet the needs of her students, Pascale has had extensive training and experience in meditation, body work, aromatherapy, psychology, breath work and shamanism. She is the mother of two beautiful children, who are her life's inspiration.
